I’m a simple minded kind of guy so I try to make things as easy for others as I make them for myself. Diet does not have to be as complicated as some people make it. Shop the perimeter of the grocery store, eat natural foods. Lots of meat, fruits and vegetables, nuts and seeds are the basics. The only supplement I recommend is Fish Oil; keeps the joints healthy and reduces risk of heart disease.
A simple diet I recommend is the Paleo Diet, which is basically what I described above, but for more detail check out the Paleolithic Diet Book.
For an even more specific diet check out the Zone. It’s basic recommendations are 40% Carbohydrates, 30% Protein, and 30% Fat. Again for more detailed info on either of these just ask me or check out the books.
